The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 41,479.32pts with a gap of 695.28pts. Later on index posted a high of 41,597.33pts where a net change of 813.29pts was recorded.While a day low of 41,079.00pts with net chage of 294.96pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 41,153.05pts with net chage of 369.01pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 355.98 million shares with net change of 79.19 million shares or 28.61% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 211.60 million shares with net change of 63.31 million shares or 42.69%. TRG, PRL and ASC remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 30.91, 23.53 and 21.65 and net price change of -5.29, 1.52 and 7.50 percent respectively.

Today,353 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 180 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 24 companies closed with no change but 149 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. ILTM, SAPT and NESTLE lead the price gainers with net price change of 86.18, 73.51 and 66.19 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side UPFL, RMPL and PAKT remained top three price losers with net price change of -474.00, -173.00 and -58.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, CEMENT and FOOD & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 41.84, 36.97 and 31.40 million shares respectively. OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES, COMMERCIAL BANKS and FERTILIZER sectors have supported index by adding 176.28, 150.49 and 27.60 points, while on the other side TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, TOBACCO and POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -31.63, -16.58 and -6.37 points respectively.
