Market Evening Wrap 11th June. 2020

The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 35,113.77pts with a gap of 48.69pts. Later on index posted a high of 35,253.50pts where a net change of 188.42pts was recorded.While a day low of 34,995.42pts with net change of -69.66pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 35,128.58pts with net change of 63.50pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 270.56 million shares with net change of 52.20 million shares or 23.90% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 145.24 million shares with net change of 5.64 million shares or 4.04%. POWER, TRG and UNITY remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 19.23, 14.55 and 10.80 and net price change of 4.94, -0.63 and 0.62 percent respectively.

Today, 352 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 194 out of these closed with net positive price change while 31 closed with no change but 127 companies closed in negative zone at day end. UPFL, SFL and RMPL lead the price gainers with net price change of 108.00, 51.84 and 40.00 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side NESTLE, SAPL and PRET remained top three price losers with net price change of -175.00, -15.00 and -13.99 Pkr/share respectively.

Today CEMENT, CHEMICAL and TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 44.35, 31.81 and 27.73 million shares respectively. FERTILIZER, CEMENT and Investment sectors have supported index by adding 52.66, 48.55 and 27.28 points, while on the other side OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES, COMMERCIAL BANKS and FOOD & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -45.84, -42.23 and -20.81 points respectively.
