Market Evening Wrap 11th Nov. 2020

The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 41,216.09pts with a gap of 63.04pts. Later on index posted a high of 41,330.49pts where a net change of 177.44pts was recorded.While a day low of 40,900.03pts with net chage of -253.02pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 41,197.32pts with net chage of 44.27pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 244.26 million shares with net change of -111.71 million shares or -31.38% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 129.69 million shares with net change of -81.92 million shares or -38.71%. BIPL, TRG and KEL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 31.52, 25.04 and 16.42 and net price change of 8.78, 2.59 and -3.25 percent respectively.

Today,347 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 119 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 20 companies closed with no change but 208 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. ILTM, SAPT and WYETH lead the price gainers with net price change of 92.64, 77.58 and 70.95 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side RMPL, PMPK and BATA remained top three price losers with net price change of -215.00, -75.00 and -43.20 Pkr/share respectively.

Today COMMERCIAL BANKS, TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION and CEMENT sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 42.63, 31.94 and 30.13 million shares respectively. OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES, COMMERCIAL BANKS and TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION sectors have supported index by adding 129.73, 45.80 and 22.51 points, while on the other side CEMENT, POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION and FERTILIZER sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -68.19, -15.12 and -11.76 points respectively.
