Market Evening Wrap 11th jun 2021

The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 48,372.96pts with a gap of 121.47pts. Later on index posted a high of 48,531.40pts where a net change of 279.91pts was recorded. While a day low of 48,245.40pts with net change of -6.09pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 48,304.72pts with net change of 53.23pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 1,024.21 million shares with net change of -15.13 million shares or -1.46% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also settled at 373.93 million shares with net change of 77.36 million shares or 26.09%. WTL, WTL and BYCO remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 120.85, 120.85 and 96.96 and net price change of -0.71, -0.71 and 4.32 percent respectively.

Today, 383 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 184 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 19 companies closed with no change but 180 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. COLG, COLG and GATI lead the price gainers with net price change of 40.00, 40.00 and 36.32 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side RMPL, RMPL and WYETH remained top three price losers with net price change of -398.00, -398.00 and -161.03 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, REFINERY and CHEMICAL sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 240.52, 120.60 and 96.29 million shares respectively. COMMERCIAL BANKS, AUTOMOBILE ASSEMBLER and REFINERY sectors have supported index by adding 28.32, 16.89 and 16.84 points, while on the other side FERTILIZER, CEMENT and TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -44.95, -30.34 and -12.25 points respectively.
