The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 47,512.88pts with a gap of 32.39pts. Later on index posted a high of 47,594.66pts where a net change of 114.17pts was recorded. While a day low of 47,442.19pts with net change of -38.30pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 47,491.47pts with net change of 10.98pts

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 508.16 million shares with net change of 11.42 million shares or 2.30% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also settled at 163.00 million shares with net change of 60.54 million shares or 59.09%. WTL, WTL and GGGL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 44.69, 44.69 and 44.07 and net price change of -2.84, -2.84 and 4.85 percent respectively.

Today, 403 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 154 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 23 companies closed with no change but 226 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. EXIDE, EXIDE and INDU lead the price gainers with net price change of 41.64, 41.64 and 38.38 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side UPFL, UPFL and COLG remained top three price losers with net price change of -121.00, -121.00 and -30.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, FOOD & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS and GLASS & CERAMICS sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 121.25, 50.19 and 48.93 million shares respectively. TEXTILE COMPOSITE, AUTOMOBILE ASSEMBLER and Investment sectors have supported index by adding 33.25, 24.31 and 15.19 points, while on the other side TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, COMMERCIAL BANKS and FERTILIZER sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -31.69, -20.88 and -20.75 points respectively.
