Session Recap:he Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 40,642.40pts with a gap of -10.27pts. Later on index posted a high of 40,658.15pts where a net change of 5.48pts was recorded.While a day low of 40,344.62pts with net chage of -308.05pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 40,514.67pts with net chage of -138.00pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 145.88 million shares with net change of -4.45 million shares or -2.96% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 78.59 million shares with net change of -1.10 million shares or -1.38%. TRG, UNITY and SNBL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 11.95, 8.83 and 6.44 and net price change of 2.85, 0.31 and -1.91 percent respectively.

Today,325 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 131 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 17 companies closed with no change but 177 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. ILTM, RMPL and KHTC lead the price gainers with net price change of 90.00, 80.00 and 20.16 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side COLG, NESTLE and SALT remained top three price losers with net price change of -51.00, -19.01 and -17.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, COMMERCIAL BANKS and CEMENT sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 26.49, 19.54 and 12.32 million shares respectively. TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, ENGINEERING and COMMERCIAL BANKS sectors have supported index by adding 11.54, 6.53 and 2.57 points, while on the other side OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES, CEMENT and OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -35.99, -26.36 and -15.95 points respectively.
