Session Recap:The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 40,527.52pts with a gap of 12.85pts. Later on index posted a high of 40,745.02pts where a net change of 230.35pts was recorded.While a day low of 40,431.41pts with net chage of -83.26pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 40,540.70pts with net chage of 26.03pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 188.55 million shares with net change of 42.67 million shares or 29.25% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 110.82 million shares with net change of 32.23 million shares or 41.01%. TRG, UNITY and FABL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 27.13, 17.75 and 9.12 and net price change of 3.46, 1.92 and 2.72 percent respectively.

Today,323 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 152 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 22 companies closed with no change but 149 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. UPFL, NESTLE and RMPL lead the price gainers with net price change of 749.00, 80.01 and 45.00 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side PMPK, SHEZ and HINO remained top three price losers with net price change of -60.00, -16.90 and -11.93 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, COMMERCIAL BANKS and VANASPATI & ALLIED INDUSTRIES sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 47.93, 28.00 and 17.76 million shares respectively. TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, CEMENT and CHEMICAL sectors have supported index by adding 13.20, 12.81 and 7.88 points, while on the other side COMMERCIAL BANKS, Investment and FERTILIZER sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -21.71, -14.36 and -9.47 points respectively.
