The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 33,857.54pts with a gap of 1,025.71pts. Later on index posted a high of 33,857.54pts where a net change of 1,025.71pts was recorded.While a day low of 33,054.08pts with net chage of 222.25pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 33,499.65pts with net chage of 667.82pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 399.52 million shares with net change of 97.21 million shares or 32.16% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 283.14 million shares with net change of 81.72 million shares or 40.57%. MLCF, FCCL and HASCOL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 39.64, 35.52 and 23.01 and net price change of 7.47, 2.48 and -2.03 percent respectively.

Today, 351 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 175 out of these closed with positive price change while 27 closed in neutral zone but 149 companies closed with net negative price change. RMPL, NESTLE and LUCK lead the price gainers with net price change of 165.00, 79.00 and 31.84 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side PMPK, SFL and SAPT remained top three price losers with net price change of -157.39, -51.18 and -39.99 Pkr/share respectively.

Today CEMENT, TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION and OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 115.87, 33.44 and 32.09 million shares respectively. FERTILIZER, CEMENT and COMMERCIAL BANKS sectors have supported index by adding 196.93, 166.34 and 141.79 points, while on the other side TOBACCO, TRANSPORT and CLOSE - END MUTUAL FUND sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -17.77, -5.98 and -5.11 points respectively.
