The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 46,626.90pts with a gap of -9.18pts. Later on index posted a high of 46,691.23pts where a net change of 55.15pts was recorded. While a day low of 46,215.18pts with net change of -420.90pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 46,528.21pts with net change of -107.87pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 194.62 million shares with net change of -192.63 million shares or -49.74% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also settled at 75.26 million shares with net change of -87.96 million shares or -53.89%. TELE, TELE and WTL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 19.86, 19.86 and 13.37 and net price change of -0.18, -0.18 and -1.85 percent respectively.

Today, 368 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 109 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 13 companies closed with no change but 246 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. RMPL, RMPL and SURC lead the price gainers with net price change of 199.99, 199.99 and 17.25 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side NESTLE, NESTLE and GATI remained top three price losers with net price change of -104.99, -104.99 and -14.50 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, COMMERCIAL BANKS and REFINERY sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 59.29, 17.39 and 15.12 million shares respectively. COMMERCIAL BANKS, MISCELLANEOUS and CEMENT sectors have supported index by adding 91.96, 46.35 and 9.10 points, while on the other side FERTILIZER, TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION and TEXTILE COMPOSITE sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -54.41, -33.26 and -32.51 points respectively.
