The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 34,068.30pts with a gap of 15.69pts. Later on index posted a high of 34,160.87pts where a net change of 108.26pts was recorded.While a day low of 33,937.63pts with net change of -114.98pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 34,034.65pts with net change of -17.96pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 195.72 million shares with net change of 35.09 million shares or 21.85% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 95.67 million shares with net change of 5.60 million shares or 6.21%. TRG, UNITY and PRLR1 remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 16.39, 12.63 and 11.82 and net price change of -1.37, -1.45 and -12.28 percent respectively.

Today, 367 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 110 out of these closed with net positive price change. While 28 companies closed with no change but 229 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. NESTLE, UPFL and RMPL lead the price gainers with net price change of 400.00, 290.00 and 90.00 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side PAKT, MUREB and INDU remained top three price losers with net price change of -32.98, -18.90 and -13.91 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, FOOD & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS and CEMENT sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 34.95, 16.69 and 13.84 million shares respectively. Investment, FOOD & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS and FERTILIZER sectors have supported index by adding 61.90, 36.04 and 15.51 points, while on the other side OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES, COMMERCIAL BANKS and POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -55.14, -32.00 and -20.69 points respectively.
