The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 27,046.71pts with a gap of -161.33pts. Later on index posted a high of 28,191.33pts where a net change of 983.29pts was recorded.While a day low of 27,046.71pts with net chage of -161.33pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 27,267.20pts with net chage of 59.16pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 186.46 million shares with net change of 41.83 million shares or 28.92% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 157.25 million shares with net change of 33.66 million shares or 27.24%. KEL, UNITY and TRG remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 21.63, 15.14 and 13.28 and net price change of -1.08, 2.82 and -7.69 percent respectively.

Today, 326 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 141 out of these closed with net positive price change while 14 closed with no change but 171 companies closed with net negative price change. BATA, WYETH and MUREB lead the price gainers with net price change of 66.41, 33.80 and 21.37 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side RMPL, PAKT and IDYM remained top three price losers with net price change of -150.00, -51.94 and -42.13 Pkr/share respectively.

Today CEMENT, POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION and COMMERCIAL BANKS sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 million shares respectively. , and sectors have supported index by adding 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 points, while on the other side , and sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 points respectively.
