Market Evening Wrap 26th Nov. 2020

The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 40,811.12pts with a gap of 433.59pts. Later on index posted a high of 41,127.49pts where a net change of 749.96pts was recorded.While a day low of 40,762.18pts with net chage of 384.65pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 41,031.03pts with net chage of 653.50pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 389.17 million shares with net change of 175.80 million shares or 82.39% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 248.72 million shares with net change of 105.81 million shares or 74.04%. UNITY, TRG and MLCF remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 50.00, 33.25 and 29.63 and net price change of 7.33, 3.75 and 7.49 percent respectively.

Today,348 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 257 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 27 companies closed with no change but 64 companies closed with net negative price change at day end.RMPL, IDYM and MARI lead the price gainers with net price change of 89.00, 36.97 and 36.83 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side ILTM, PMPK and SAPL remained top three price losers with net price change of -125.00, -33.99 and -32.48 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, CEMENT and VANASPATI & ALLIED INDUSTRIES sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 67.43, 65.02 and 50.02 million shares respectively. CEMENT, COMMERCIAL BANKS and OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES sectors have supported index by adding 131.59, 71.97 and 70.15 points, while on the other side Investment, TOBACCO and SUGAR & ALLIED INDUSTRIES sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -3.28, -2.57 and 0.00 points respectively.
