The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 32,284.78pts with a gap of -29.79pts. Later on index posted a high of 32,635.91pts where a net change of 321.34pts was recorded.While a day low of 32,284.78pts with net chage of -29.79pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 32,553.39pts with net chage of 238.82pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 158.18 million shares with net change of 35.91 million shares or 29.37% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 123.65 million shares with net change of 29.26 million shares or 31.00%. MLCF, UNITY and BOP remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 36.23, 20.56 and 7.89 and net price change of 2.97, 3.56 and -1.76 percent respectively.

Today, 303 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 157 out of these closed with net positive price change while 23 companies closed with no change but 123 companies closed with net negative price change. UPFL, NESTLE and IDYM lead the price gainers with net price change of 333.33, 232.00 and 46.00 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side SFL, PAKT and SAPT remained top three price losers with net price change of -51.00, -43.33 and -43.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today CEMENT, VANASPATI & ALLIED INDUSTRIES and COMMERCIAL BANKS sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 59.71, 20.56 and 18.15 million shares respectively. CEMENT, POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION and FOOD & PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS sectors have supported index by adding 71.63, 62.39 and 43.19 points, while on the other side COMMERCIAL BANKS, Investment and REFINERY sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -58.98, -11.18 and -2.65 points respectively.
