The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 32,763.98pts with a gap of 210.59pts. Later on index posted a high of 33,158.84pts where a net change of 605.45pts was recorded.While a day low of 32,763.98pts with net chage of 210.59pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 33,158.84pts with net chage of 605.45pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 140.45 million shares with net change of -17.74 million shares or -11.21% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 110.97 million shares with net change of -12.68 million shares or -10.25%. MLCF, HASCOL and DGKC remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 18.44, 8.22 and 7.27 and net price change of 1.42, 1.95 and 0.46 percent respectively.

Today, 320 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 202 out of these closed with net positive price change while 21 closed with no change but 97 companies closed with net negative price change. UPFL, RMPL and PAKT lead the price gainers with net price change of 637.50, 240.00 and 50.66 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side NESTLE, OTSU and SAPL remained top three price losers with net price change of -80.33, -20.00 and -14.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today CEMENT, OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES and OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 43.98, 11.82 and 10.87 million shares respectively. OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES, POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION and FERTILIZER sectors have supported index by adding 201.29, 103.49 and 79.70 points, while on the other side COMMERCIAL BANKS, REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST and AUTOMOBILE PARTS & ACCESSORIES sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -20.92, -5.50 and -0.93 points respectively.
