Market Evening Wrap 29th Jul. 2021

The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 47,339.85pts with a gap of 21.82pts. Later on index posted a high of 47,353.91pts where a net change of 35.88pts was recorded. While a day low of 46,955.10pts with net change of -362.93pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 47,312.33pts with net change of -5.70pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 376.13 million shares with net change of 10.52 million shares or 2.88% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also settled at 156.48 million shares with net change of 27.55 million shares or 21.37%. WTL, BYCO and UNITY remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 50.15, 47.11 and 16.15 and net price change of -4.20, 0.91 and -0.69 percent respectively.

Today, 370 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 135 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 18 companies closed with no change but 217 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. ICI, FEROZ and TICL lead the price gainers with net price change of 25.46, 21.21 and 18.03 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side GATI, BTL and PECO remained top three price losers with net price change of -42.22, -38.55 and -31.84 Pkr/share respectively.
