The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 35,014.43pts with a gap of 36.25pts. Later on index posted a high of 35,105.16pts where a net change of 126.98pts was recorded.While a day low of 34,918.52pts with net change of -59.66pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 35,051.38pts with net change of 73.20pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 175.76 million shares with net change of -207.32 million shares or -54.12% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 108.99 million shares with net change of -123.25 million shares or -53.07%. TRG, JSCL and HUMNL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 23.31, 12.75 and 9.12 and net price change of 6.68, -0.08 and -5.66 percent respectively.

Today, 319 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 138 out of these closed with net positive price change. While 19 companies closed with no change but 162 companies closed with net negative price change at day end.SFL, MARI and PMRS lead the price gainers with net price change of 58.01, 47.35 and 46.82 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side ARPL, SAPT and WAHN remained top three price losers with net price change of -20.80, -15.01 and -9.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION, Investment and CEMENT sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 51.74, 14.82 and 13.87 million shares respectively. PHARMACEUTICALS, FERTILIZER and COMMERCIAL BANKS sectors have supported index by adding 36.64, 30.54 and 28.33 points, while on the other side CEMENT, OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES and POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -30.48, -8.98 and -7.46 points respectively.
