The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 46,039.57pts with a gap of 75.30pts. Later on index posted a high of 46,189.25pts where a net change of 224.98pts was recorded. While a day low of 45,923.57pts with net change of -40.70pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 46,160.78pts with net change of 196.51pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 403.69 million shares with net change of 4.52 million shares or 1.13% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also settled at 198.94 million shares with net change of -4.70 million shares or -2.31%. ANL, TRG and BYCO remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 32.04, 27.80 and 27.60 and net price change of 2.95, 0.00 and 2.71 percent respectively.

Today, 361 companies participated in trading at PSX floor, 196 out of these closed with net positive price change, while 23 companies closed with no change but 142 companies closed with net negative price change at day end. UPFL, ILTM and BATA lead the price gainers with net price change of 499.00, 145.50 and 107.32 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side SAPT, AKDCL and NESTLE remained top three price losers with net price change of -20.69, -20.31 and -17.00 Pkr/share respectively.

Today REFINERY, TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION and TEXTILE COMPOSITE sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 63.48, 55.11 and 38.40 million shares respectively. , and sectors have supported index by adding 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 points, while on the other side , and sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 points respectively.
