The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 35,253.65pts with a gap of 50.88pts. Later on index posted a high of 35,472.68pts where a net change of 269.91pts was recorded.While a day low of 35,211.45pts with net change of 8.68pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 35,373.35pts with net change of 170.58pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 333.85 million shares with net change of 1.60 million shares or 0.48% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 241.04 million shares with net change of 11.95 million shares or 5.21%. PAEL, HASCOL and LOTCHEM remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 32.97, 31.52 and 24.13 and net price change of -0.04, 3.34 and -2.26 percent respectively.

Today 361 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 187 out of these closed with net positive price change. While 27 companies closed with no change but 147 companies closed with net negative price change at day end.RMPL, INDU and SFL lead the price gainers with net price change of 150.00, 78.01 and 44.50 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side UPFL, NESTLE and SUTM remained top three price losers with net price change of -190.00, -95.00 and -24.99 Pkr/share respectively.

Today CEMENT, TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION and CABLE & ELECTRICAL GOODS sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 46.73, 38.67 and 36.39 million shares respectively. , and sectors have supported index by adding 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 points, while on the other side , and sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 points respectively.
