The Benchmark KSE100 index opened at 31,248.63pts with a gap of 277.36pts. Later on index posted a high of 32,009.12pts where a net change of 1,037.85pts was recorded.While a day low of 31,248.63pts with net chage of 277.36pts was witnessed during the day. While session suspended at 31,837.30pts with net chage of 866.03pts.

Trading volume at PSX floor settled at 215.96 million shares with net change of 35.25 million shares or 19.50% on DoD basis. While trading volume of KSE100 listed companies also setteld at 172.39 million shares with net change of 19.33 million shares or 12.63%. UNITY, HASCOL and PAEL remained top three volume leaders with net trading volume of 28.77, 25.83 and 14.08 and net price change of 7.05, 0.74 and -6.49 percent respectively.

Today, 335 companies participated in trading at PSX floor and 247 out of these closed with net positive price change while 21 closed in neutral zone but 67 companies closed with net negative price change. BATA, IDYM and JLICL lead the price gainers with net price change of 45.00, 36.05 and 19.59 Pkr/share respectively. While on the other side RMPL, PAKT and SAPT remained top three price losers with net price change of -310.81, -131.17 and -50.44 Pkr/share respectively.

Today , and sectors remained top three volume leading sectors with net trading volume of 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 million shares respectively. COMMERCIAL BANKS, OIL & GAS EXPLORATION COMPANIES and FERTILIZER sectors have supported index by adding 210.24, 143.45 and 87.90 points, while on the other side TOBACCO, GLASS & CERAMICS and CLOSE - END MUTUAL FUND sectors have dragged index towards negative zone by -20.59, -3.77 and -2.71 points respectively.
